WordPress is used on many sites nowadays, although, there are more good CMS systems. Like Joomla!
I use wordpress and joomla on my sites, and both like them. Joomla is looking a bit more professional. Just my 2 cents

I used Joomla a lot in the past, also easy to use but wordpress is so much better.
I am slowly changing all my joomla hobby sites to wordpress. But this is a project I wanted to do a half year ago, but i still haven’t done it
