We tried to grow a mailing list, but to be honest our heart wasn’t in it. Our list never made it off the ground and secretly we are pleased it didn’t. Don’t get us wrong, we like affiliate marketing and will recommend products we believe will benefit others, but we just weren’t cool with the idea of selling ‘hope to the hopeless’.
That’s why today (22nd June 2009) sees the first day of our ‘donate if you want to’ model. NO MORE will we ask you for your email address, NO MORE will we push onto you our mailing list. Now if you like the site and have found it useful, then you can show your appreciation and leave it at that.
As a token of our appreciation
We are offering anyone a link back to their site if they donate £5 or more (approx $8 or €6).
That has to be the cheapest backlink you will ever buy!
